I am a research group leader (May 2022 - now) of Eco-Meteorology Group at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry in the Department of Biogeochemical Integration.
I was a Postdoctoral Fellow (September 2020 - April 2022) of Micrometeorology Lab at The University of British Columbia in the Department of Geography. I received my Ph.D. through the Department of Geography at The University of British Columbia in 2020, my M.Sc. in the Department of Geography at The University of British Columbia in 2016, and my B.Sc in the Department of Geography at National Taiwan University in 2013. I grew up in Taiwan. As an international student from Asia and a first generation academics, I deeply understand the obstacles faced by other international students and minorities. I have been active in the Taiwan Graduate Student Association and Taiwanese Young Researcher Association to provide useful information including academic resources and networking opportunities for new graduate students. Additionally, I volunteered to host workshops during my vacation time back in Taiwan to help undergraduate students navigate the graduate school application process. Interests: basketball, watches, hiking, cooking, music, hanging out with my friends (miss it a lot!) |
